About

Steven Rombauts

Cambridge, UK

Steven started his career as a software developer specialising in web applications. He has helped small and big companies to bring their ideas to life throughout his career.

He currently works at Timble as DevOps Engineer working on a multitude of projects. He brings responsibility to every stage of a project development's cycle, from writing code to deployment and systems monitoring.

He recognizes that software cannot be created by only writing code. Development and operations are equal parts of the equation and developers must be in contact with the day-to-day operations of their software. You build it, you run it.

Steven is passionate about open source, sharing and collaboration. He firmly believes that open technologies and transparancy can make a better world.
